No need to apologise for the short notice, Lisa, that's how such things are.
Basically, Lisa Pitz writes round urgently to inform that some time between one and two tomorrow afternoon ARD television's Midday Magazine will be screening a report on CE, just shot at the summer program of the Tagesstätte (day centre) in Würzburg.
Viel Glück, Wolfgang and all of you (and if there's a spare recording of the report going, I'd love to lay hands on one!).

There is already a more informative posting in this TV report, in English, on the Conductor website.

This includes a link to the TV company's site where you will be able to see the report directly, some time tomorrow, wherever you are in the world.
So much more elegant, don't you think, than trying to scrounge a recording...?
Andrew.
I certainly made a mess of that! Some European I am. I do try sometimes but on this occasion I quite forgot the one-hour's time difference, remembering only at 1232 (English time, of course!)
In the hope of catching the CE (or should I write KF?) item I found my way easily enough to the live on-line broadcast and thought myself in undeserved luck. At 1236 on came a film report shot in a very lavish- and clean-looking place that I took to be a clinic.
And true to form, on came a professor in a white laboratory coat who had a young man demonstrate a fiendishly ingenious (and to my eyes wholly impractical) Robocop-style electro-mechanical system to do something for his walking. That lasted three minutes, then it was on to other things.
What did I learn? Not a lot, other than to pay attention and wake up to time differences. I saw that people who appear on German TV, even on day-time TV, tend to be much more serious and wordy than they would be possible in the English-speaking countries. This went for the young man in the apparatus too.
But I knew this already, having seen far more implausible examples of this on hotel televisions across Central and Eastern Europe.
I stuck with the programme right to the weather forcast at its end, from which I learned that they were having a far nicer day there that we were having here in England So nothing new there, either!
What I did not learn was anything anout the CE broadcast.
Can anybody fill me in?
Andrew.
Yes, Andrew I can fill you in.
I have just received the around-Germany email from Wolfgang Vogt which informs us that the TV gave out the wrong information and the item on Würzburg's Summer-camp and Conductive Education will be aired tomorrow (Friday) on the same midday news show (13.00 in Germany).
I am glad about that as work prevented me from watching today but I realised when I checked the internet site that I hadn't missed anything.
I hope my work will go according to plan tomorrow and I will get to see it live.
I could not get the sound to work on the computer I was using this afternoon so I cannot fill you in about the fiendish walking robot but I really don't think you are missing much there.
If all goes well I will be blogging the CE news tomorrow.

The wrong day! Don't tell me, we've all been there. Ask the Americans about it...
Nothing worse for folk promissed their five minutes of fam then, having told the world about it, sitting watching somebody else's.
Don't I know it!
Still, it's an ill wind and tommorrow I shall be there ready on the dot at the correct GMT!
Andrew
