Buddy Bear turns to private sector

Appeal to businesses to double its size

Buddy Bear Trust, the small but longstanding Conductive Education charity in Northern Ireland, has launches a public appeal to businesses, with the goal of doubling in size, with £50,000 already raised or pledged towards it first-year target of £100,000.

Turning to the private sector for major financial support represents a change in emphasis for Buddy Bear which has hitherto devoted major attention to attracting political and public-sector backing.
