EUROPEAN AGENCY FOR DEVELOPMENT IN SPECIAL NEEDS EDUCATION

Some sort of Euroquango?

Norman Perrin introduces this:

Fleas upon fleas. And of course totally spurious. There is no need for it and it fulfills no function. Close it tomorrow and there will be no loss felt, and no trace left.
If I could be bothered I would wonder what it is called in umpty other EU languages. This is a question far more fundamental than mere words. The concept of 'special education needs' is a confused figment of English legislation (from Mary Warnock, out of Ron Gulliford). Does it have any conceptual equivalent or legitimacy outside the idiosyncratic education systems of the United Kingdom?
SEN-tosh meets Eurobollox. Earth hath not anything to show more fair. A losing combination if ever there was one.
What hath CE to show as fair?
