NEW IN THE VIRTUAL LIBRARY

Still growing resource

Gill Maguire has announced the latest additions to Conductive Education's Virtual Library.

This month's list adds eight new titles to the collection. Not much new is coming on line of late, but there is also a continuing flow of older stuff just identified that is also being added.

These eight items hail from expected countries:

England
Germany
Hong Kong
Israel
Sweden

Conductors feature little among authors.

There is substantive material in the list published today – and one stinker!

You can find Gill's announcement at:

Not yet a literature

The now considerable collection of written materials referring to Conductive Education on line, as represented in the Virtual Library, does not yet cohere into 'a literature', this for two reasons that are separate but perhaps in part interconnected:
  • these materials include little 'academic literature' (i.e. publications meeting usual academic requirements such as peer review)
  • for the most part they demonstrate little extensive, critical referal back to earlier publications, little confirmation or rebutal of what is said elsewhere, to provide a mechanism for sifting out the worthwile from the worthless in this growing accumulation of written materials.
The Virtual Library's extensive searchable catalogue, with direct links to all items included, is at:

  1. Thanks for adding the link to the catalogue which I had omitted by mistake. This has now been corrected!
