A GERMAN-HUNGARIAN COOPERATION

Student placements

Yesterday the Bavaria newspaper Merkur reported on a training deal between Forschritt Starnberg and the PAF (András Pető College) in Budapest
FortSchritt to work with Pető College

The nonprofit FortSchritt GmbH in Niederpöcking works closely with the Budapest Pető College. An agreement now regulates this cooperation...
Dr Andrea Zsebe, the new Rector of the Budapest András Pető College, has travelled from Hungary to Lake Starnberg. After three days, the head of the Institute was very pleased with the outcome of the talks. Peter von Quadt, head of Fortschritt commented –
'For us at FortSchritt the visit of the Rector of the András Pető College and her deputy, Éva Szabó Feketéné, is a great honor and a recognition of our work.'
Now the leaders of the Fortschritt and the Pető College have prepared a long-envisaged cooperation agreement. This cooperation provides that students from the Pető College may complete the practical part of their studies in FortSchritt facilities. Secondly, the practical experience of working in conductor-training at the FortSchritt and in scientific research will be fed into the András Pető College. Andrea Zsebe commented –
'FortSchritt is made for these anticipated tasks. I very much hope that the process gets going quickly.'
The András Petö College is working on uniform standards for certifying its future partners . The work of FortSchritt Starnberg serves as a prime example because it employs conductors who were trained in Hungary...

Plenty enough there for CE people to consider and discuss, in Germany and across the world.
