HEALTH TOURISM – PAF GOES SOUTH

Regional Centre planned in Gyula

Under the heading 'Rehabilitation swimming pool and developments in Gyula', Thermál Online reports that the town council of the small provincial spa town of Gyula, close by the Romanian border, has passed a resolution to upgrade and extend its bathing facilities by constructing an indoor swimming centre. It will also be making facilities available to PAF (Pető András College) as a regional centre to serve Hungary's Southern Plains.


This is the first announced fruit of PAF's decentralisation strategy of making its services less Budapest-centred, in connection with with the health-tourism industry, as announced in April:
