The PAF (András Pető College) – what many people around the world still refer to as 'the Pető Institute' – is advertising for a conductor:
The post is full-time and permanent, to be based at the PAF's HQ in Kútvölgyi út in Budapest.
Applicants should hold a conductor qualification from the PAF/PAI. The job involves working as a conductor in a foreign language, and requires knowledge of English – plus knowledge of German or Russian – and willingness to travel abroad for periods of two to four weeks at a time, 'on foreign missions'.
Applications should be made by 14 September.
Now isn't that interesting?
